Note from Rose Clifford

Thank you for your interest in Legal Nurse Consulting. I am very thrilled for you! Legal nurse consulting is an exciting, growing specialty of nursing especially for someone of your caliber, education and experience.

I would highly recommend you taking a brief training in legal nurse consulting either through the professional association [info at www.aalnc.org] or through the University of Central Florida CE LNC program [info at www.ce.ucf.edu/lnc]. Both are quality programs and available on line. However, if you are in the Central, Florida area you can attend their classes in person.

I would recommend taking an internship in legal nurse consulting, whether you choose to do it through us [info at www.rosecliffordinternships.com] or through someone else, getting the hands-on experience is like participating in a preceptorship or orientation after nursing school. Just be sure whomever it is through, they are highly experienced in the field of legal nurse consulting, have actually been consulting for years and are still active in the field.

I do want you to know that if you choose to do the legal nurse consulting program through the University of Central Florida that we are affiliated and do give a tremendous discount on the internship for those graduates.

What not to do...although there is something to be learned from everyone, do not spend an exorbitant amount of money on any program that offers a certification where no experience [at least 2000 hours] in legal nurse consulting is required. Those programs hold themselves out to be nursing certification programs, but are not accredited through the American Board of Nursing Specialties.

If I can personally answer any further questions please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,

Rose Clifford
